Rumor is Uruk family (hai, tron and blade) but presumably you would have the same chance to drop it from any other mob.

Can confirm that I've received more monster stones from farming uruk blades/trons than any other monster in the game so far, also seems that treants/ancients are more likely than any other to give you a 1000x coin jackpot :P

The % of ms drop gotta do something with your lvl . Some mobs drop more when they are suited with your lvl. But still any mob can drop ms at same ratio. So just go with what you can kill fast and coin effective
