Well, it's quite obvious that paying customers will get some sort of advantage isn't it?
Put yourself in shoes of a paying customer, you pay now let's say 40 bucks, don't you think you should get some sort of advantage?
Remember, you're purchasing something, not donating this money.
1. As mentioned earlier, I'll check what can be done about it.
2. That's right, it's your responsibility but as you can clearly see, even users that shared their accounts / remote desktop application information came to us complaining about their accounts being hacked. Obviously, same thing would happen with delete character feature.
I will try to come up with a proper solution for this and propose it to our devs, if you have an actual suggestion which would help with this one.
Please do not hesitate to share it with us.
3. You said it yourself.
4. Just like #3.
5. We're constantly blocking these gold bar sellers, if you happen to have an evidence showing a user selling gold bars for real currency, you are more than welcomed to report it.. even directly to me and I can assure you, he/they will suffer for this.
This is the main reason you probably saw PUS items such as scrolls, cospre item etc. price in-game dropping lately, GBs value raised (many gold farmers lost their gold bars- > less gold bars in the server)
6. We're planning to do something about it as well.
7. I'm not sure what do you mean exactly, could you elaborate?
8. Will check if our devs could do something about it as soon as possible.
Thank you for making an effort to post suggestions!!!
But keeping it short, we're working on something which will help players complete there 70~80 skill quests.
Not really :(
We've implemented a new system which decreased the amount of TPT users significantly lately and yet, we are still working on more improvements which will help us vanquish them once and for all.
I'm assuming you've noticed that there are a lot less TPT users lately right?
Kurian's graphical and physical changes, I do believe the game dev will eventually come up with additional updates for this but I'll try to check what's going on with it.
Skill / quest bugs, there's a bug list which contains most of the bugs that this class has, our devs are working on it and keep releasing more fixes as soon as possible.
Not gonna happen, I know plenty of users that's not paying for premium since they don't want to / can't afford to, why do you think it would be fair to prevent such players from enjoying one of the biggest parts of this game? PVP.
I don't think that's necessary considering we came up with a better solution :)
Thank you all for taking time to post suggestions!
Keep it up!!
I will try to get it posted later next week, hopefully.
Thank you for making an effort to post these suggestions.
1) removing chaos stone and make boss summons random which is used to be before.
2) removing old accerosies and new quest armors
3) pathos-cypher server merge (if possible)
Thank you for your understanding I'm sure that officials are showing great effort for this game maybe a poll on official website should be better.
1. Keep the event opening schedule and PUS unlocks.
It gives players something to look forward to, however, it needs to be revised in depth because the pace at which each event was released, and especially the order, upset many players (UTC is not out still, and it might never be).
The initial order was alright, but chaos ensued when the level 83 cap was added before Ardream release, and then Krowaz plus cursed weapons - this broke the game for many people.
About PUS stuff, everything was alright. Cypher Rings perhaps entered the fray too late. Dragon Boxes and Monster Summon Staves though, nobody missed those and I'm glad they're still absent.
2. Restrictions upon entering Krowaz Dominion.
I don't know just how much NTT can modify the client, but having Krowaz Dominion as a permanently open farming zone is not a good idea, it should be opened at certain times per day and increase the drop rate 3x. On its current state, mages (legal and non legal) abuse this zone 24/7 and get literally rich IRL. Melees can't do this due to how mechanics work, which brings me to the next point.
3. Knight Online? More like Mage Online.
Mages are so ridiculously overpowered in every aspect bar solo combat that it's not even funny anymore. For some obscure reason, most bosses in the game have extremely high physical damage resilience, but their magic resistance values remain close to null. Why is it that a mega geared warrior can only hit an eslant or chaos stone boss for 700 or so while a semi geared mage can spam 1500 and upwards? This balance distortion includes most eslant bosses (SQ, Talos, DF, TK), Krowaz Zone bosses, Eslant Dungeon monsters, CZ Cursed bosses (Havoc, Enigma, etc), Every chaos stone boss and more. They are the gods of PVE and large scale PVP (easiest class to make NP with).
Let's not forget that melees have to deal with 2000 damage hits and upwards, while mages most of the time safely range these bosses to death, to the point of not even being a challenge.
What to do here? It's simple. Bump up the magic resistance from bosses, so the mages are on a more even ground when compared to melees.
4. Bots and workarounds.
Let's be real, 24/7 GM protection will -never- happen. So let's think of ways to diminish their impact in the gameplay and overall economy.
-Removal of every non-tradable armor given after Royal Knight's
-Removal of +5 chitin armor from quest rewards
-Removal of 5x Weapon and Armor enchant from quest rewards (Treant Hunt)
In the past, the 5 mill coin quest from Tyons was removed, same with free MD+3. So this wouldn't be new at all. Chitin quest in the past was not that big of a deal, but since now they're for some reason middle class items, it leads to a heavy market imbalance where Shells are simply not desirable at all.
On the non-tradable armors. The Shrewd / Holy Knight armor sets (and the Troll Armors as well) have stats belonging to +6 chitins or shells. This makes defeating koxpers unnecessarily harder and devalues regular armors.
To fix the shortage of armors (and following ramp up in prices) I would add FP+5 drop rate back to Dragon Tooth Skeletons, Soldiers and Commanders.
5. Leveling up spots - Making CZ (Ronark Land) exp more attractive.
Genie has made manual (normal) exp obsolete. Nobody liked to do it, but those who did would be greatly benefited compared to those that just let a program do it <- This is false as of today.
Back when I played, and most KO players will know this, hunting monsters at CZ had an added bonus of increased drop rates AND experience rate. 20% more was the amount if I recall correctly. Now, for some reason this doesn't hold up in SteamKO (unsure about USKO). In depth testing with my clan showed how EXP in Eslant is higher in all fronts. Why?
With EXP premium, a Titan in Eslant (before level 80) will give me 520k, while in CZ I'd get 330k. Booros? 350k in eslant, 240k in CZ or so - you get the idea.
Now, that's a night and day difference. I believe swapping up the amounts would be a poor decision because then no one would exp in eslant at all. What needs to happen is to have both amounts normalized to the highest denominator, and then boost CZ by a bit. CZ is THE end game zone. It's the zone where the most amount of people is supposed to congregate, it is the zone by which one can measure a server's activity. EXPing in CZ implied being at a constant risk of raids, fight for coveted slots and the lack of TS quick heals! The tradeoff is that the EXP was the best in the game, the mobs don't aggro and lastly... EXP could actually be fun.
I understand you guys wanna sell genie and stuff, but remember that without activity, the game dies out.
6. Felankor in Bowl.
I'm not a big fan of this. It's supposed to be a huge attraction but eh, it's just a clusterf**k of people who want to PK and those that want to kill the boss. It looks out of place too. Can Felankor just go back to its cave? Or at least have a server-wide announcement before it spawns in CZ, because it feels too random and respawns too fast.
Remember that when it spawned in abyss, if my memory serves me right, it spawned very rarely. Either once every restart or every 3 days... idk, but it was certainly not twice or even 3 times in the same day.
7. Solo farming.
Some people like to farm alone when they don't have a clan, or when they're AFK. Unfortunately, the solo farm options in this game were slowly taken out one by one as years went by.
All that's left is:
AOC farm at CZ (BUS and high class rarely)
Uruk Trons (Monster stones)
Half Trolls and similar monsters (NPC-worthy trash)
CZ Bowl Bifrost mobs up until Wrath (Limited to certain classes, mainly BP's and warriors)
These are barely viable, and limited too. More options would be greatly appreciated.
8. Event Schedule.
The event schedule is supposed to cover every single timezone, that's why there are multiple events per day so that you can do at least one of each. Somewhere down the beginning of SteamKO, the schedule was changed to heavily benefit turkish / european players over western ones (North and South America).
The Chaos / BDW that took place at 9PM server time was deleted, leaving a huge gap between the last Eslant Dungeon (2:40 AM europe) and the next BDW (8:00 AM europe). Meanwhile in the Americas, we have 0 events at night except on war days. from 6:40PM server time to 00:00AM we get nothing. How is this fair?
Even the remaining Chaos Dungeons are nothing short of a joke. One takes place at 3AM, the other one at 7AM and the last one at 3PM. If you work or study, say goodbye to ever participating in one of these.
Bifrost? 2AM, 11AM, 4PM and that's it (might be slightly off by 1 hour in some). Night time for the Americas? Nah, don't you see the turkish players are sleeping? That wouldn't be right.
The schedule needs some work.
9. Cheat reporting.
This one is pretty simple. There just has to be a more accessible way of reporting and banning cheaters. Not every player wants to go out of their way for 5-10 minutes to carefully document a ticket about one of a thousand different batches of cheaters (that will undoubtedly be back the next day under other names).
A link in the SteamKO website where you can submit detailed information would be a nifty addition. The criteria by which you hand out automated bans is up to you guys (filters like prem user or not, which quests were completed, account creation date, matching IP's, achievements completed, clans joined, people they usually party with, how fast he hit 70, etc).
10. Haste on fixing bugs.
How hard can it be to get a subject fixed? 6 months later lots of bugs still persist. I know of private server owners who would patch up a fix within minutes. Certainly it must be easier for official devs right? I know MGame are the ones who create the patches but seriously, there must be a better way to communicate with them?
-Boat war is still bugged.
-Hidden Truth chain quest is impossible to complete.
-Lemegeton chain quest final step is impossible to complete in any side.
-Lemegeton chain quest 11th step is impossible to advance in human side.
-PUS doesn't remember your last purchase, search doesn't work, occasionally lags out.
-Steam trusted account KC limit is still NOT working properly.
-BDW still kicks you out for no reason.
-Ultima still nowhere to be found in Bifrost, despite having a release being advertised as such being the case.
-Porutu class is still riddled with bugs from what I know.
-Nation Transfer resets some quests, which open up a lot of exploits.
Some classics...
-Took 5 months to make CZ 70+
-Took around the same amount of time to make all purchases have a 7 day merchant cooldown down from 30.
-Took almost 2 months to remove Black Treasure Chests from FT.
-Took 2-3 weeks to fix Eslant Dungeon (how was it released in a bugged state - beyond me)
-Took almost 2 months to fix the corrupted files on certain war maps.
-Took 7 months to fix the scouting report quest.
-Took at least 6 months to fix the text on rings that drop from Deruvish Founder being wrongfully labeled as "Old".
Could go on and on, I'll stop now.
11. Level requirements for stuff.
Many events and in game functions need to have their level requirements re-adjusted.
Chaos dungeon currently works from level 1. It should be moved up to 55 because it's plagued by AFK bot accounts.
Krowaz Dominion should be made for level 80 and upwards. Reason: Koxp.
Desperation Abyss should require level 55: Reason: Koxp.
Hell Abyss and Dragon Cave should require level 65. Reason: Koxp.
12. Incomplete / unused content.
Moradon has an island you can teleport to by running out of town and talking to the guy at the docks. There are some pirates there, but that quest doesn't work.
Tale Village in moradon has a grand total of 0 monsters. Why? Yes, you guessed right. Koxp. The koxpers basically got every monster removed from there. Used to be a decent place to level up at.
Dragon cave right now is inaccessible due to servants of Isiloon not dropping Dragon Marbles.
In the quest menu you can see dozens of quests not active or with missing NPC's, will those ever be implemented? Some even say "daily".
Ehem. I guess I'm running out of valid subjects to address, I'll just wrap this up this post.
------------------------------------------
Anyways, hope my game knowledge was useful and you get these fixed, if you want to have a better game for everyone.
Old accessories won't be removed, I'm pretty sure it's obvious why not.
Quest armors- will put into consideration.
1) Not gonna happen, at least not at this stage. As you can see we managed to restrain many of the TPT users lately and the chaos stone is there because it creates more activity in PVP zones.
2) Already addressed it.
3) http://steamcommunity.com/app/389430/discussions/0/361798516948929063/
Thank you for making any effort to submit suggestions.
Well done, that's how a detailed suggestion should look like.
Now let's address the points you mentioned there;
1. Agreed but not fully, some (if not all) of the updates we released were released due to user's request and users that were complaining about not enough content being released.
We do have every intention to inform the community plenty of time in advance for future updates though.
2. I'm not sure it would be possible at this stage but I'll check what can be done about it besides what you mentioned at #11. (lv. restriction)
3. That's a good one, I'll try to push this one.
4. Will discuss it with our staff and see what can be done about this one.
5. Prefer not getting into details with this one but let's just say we're working on something.
6. I don't think that removing Felankor from bowl is a good idea, perhaps applying some sort of automatic-announcement in-game before it spawns would work a lot better. < will check if our devs can take care of this one quick enough.
7. Which kind of mobs would you recommend in this case?
Considering we're talking about solo farm, I don't think there are plenty left.
8. Will try to have this one addressed, might take a while I presume.
9. When the time comes, we'll apply improvements on the reporting system. As of right now, it'll remain this way.
10. Our devs are trying to push this one recently.
11. Will try to do something about this as well.
Thank you for making an effort to submit suggestions.
