is there a reason why u added r attack to genie for priest/mage?. if have malice on or db priest in genie exp is always running and attacking :S

I had a DB priest using Genie along with my assassin level 83. It was working great for party of two players only. She's done a great job healing along with a few debuff skill. However, I did realize that "r" attack was added when I tried today.
Can any "Genie development & Improvement department" look into it ? Million of Thanks appreciated if changes can be made yeah.

@T-Pot, are you still facing the same issues as you had described "Running & attacking" r mode ?

Hey so DB priest seems to be running fine doesn't run in and attack, but buff with malice on does still, i haven't tried buff with malice since yesterdays patch maybe it has changed with path update.

@T-Pot Oh really that awesome. Mine just full DB without buff capabilities
Let me double-check my setup again this weekend, probably some setup mistake on my genie. Thanks for the feedback & Cheers

With malice only, it still does R attack.
It has something to do with the patch update
" Genie targeting system has been improved. After target creature dies, it will switch to the other creature in a shorter time."

Pretty much they just added an R attack to make you go to the next target faster.. for melee and others, that's great. You get to do more damage with R in between the skills... for a full debuffer only, and mages, it sucks because they run to the target.

Any full party 8/8 attacking mob will get less EXP. It's a bug with the game. If all members of a party attack the mob, the 8th person "KS" the exp and so the whole party doesn't get full exp. This means a priest who buffs/heals and also attacks will KS the group.

In this case, the improvement has been made for Genie targeting purposes. Great job NTTGAME. However, I will try again but if it doesn't work with any work around then I will convert into Battle priest mode. I believe two attacker is always better than one isn't it ^^

the reason that your db priest attacking R is : if you check your range of activies you will see its 10meters.and your attack range will be appearing 10 meters more than you choosed.
They added auto 10 meter activity to charater that you can not reduce so your character is running 10 meter radial to attack mob.
Please any GM tell if its made properly?
will it be changed back to normal ?

Meanwhile, just wait and see if there's anything can be done for win win situation. Let's pray for next update patch. Cheers !!!
