PS4 Controller not working

Hey guys, I got this game on Epic and I was excited to try it out but my DualShock 4 doesn't work on it. I use DS4Windows to make Windows recognize it as an Xbox controller, which worked flawlessly in pretty much every game I've tried.

Details:
- I can press A on the start screen and it recognizes the input. Immediately the controller stops working, on the singleplayer selection screen.
- In the control options, I can press A and it recognizes the device as XInput controller, but it still doesn't work and I can't configure any buttons.
- I've tried setting the launch options as suggested in FAQ, with no success.

Same here. also tried launching it through Steam's Big Picture mode (with working controller), still no luck.

I have Horizon Chase on Epic too and DS4 works fine. The game has native DS4 support, so DS4Windows should be disabled. It is also possible to add Horizon Chase as non-Steam game to the Steam library but for correct PS prompts is needed to disable Steam input.

Can confirm that this works. I stopped and closed DS4Windows, and made sure that steam was closed off too so it didn't pick up the controller.

DS4Windows has some conflict with steam, even if you have the application stopped you have to close it

Hi everyone, I had the same issue described by Igor Freitas but with my Xbox One controller, I had to unplug my steering wheel for the joystick to work or it will only work on the start screen

Same problem here, but with a x360 controller. I used to play it normally. But today, when I tried to play it again, it did not recognize my joystick (I mean, I'm able to press the button to pass the first screen, but nothing after that).

Tried a lot of workarounds suggested in previous discussions; none worked.
