Just to be clear: there is no modding support yet.
but when it's added, yes absolutely, custom characters will be the least you can do with mods.
I plan on making a character that has only 3 attacks/stances: Rock, Paper & Scissors
If you were asking if you can make the sprites using in-game tools, probably not, you'll have to use your favorite image editor.
There's nothing I can do with the contents from extracting the .exe?
I'll put in your vote for adding mod support as the next feature
Once we have mods can we have a stickied thread that's basically a mod list or list of modding tutorials
The plan is that we'll make a video tutorial showing us adding a new modded character from start to finish. I'm personally a huge fan of video tutorials
For the mod list, we'll have steam workshop support, which should be better than a stickied thread
