Scaling a complete track
Simple, we made a track using google maps and completed it. Now we feel its slightly smaller in scale than in real life, so we are trying to scale everything up a bit.

But theres no such option and reworking the whole track would be insane. Is there anything that can be done in RTB or KsEditor to scale the whole track? I tried getting the FBX imported to blender and used scaling in editor and exporting and importing and the track completely breaks apart (textures, lightining, turns)

Is there a safe way to do it? Sounds simple but theres no such option.

unfortunatly not an easy option. the problem arises from the "FACT" that google uses perspective based imagery where you need orthographic based imagery that has the perspective removed for the technical application.

So...no solution for this then? When I create tracks, it seems like the scale is way off for Assetto Corsa. The cars are too big.

Since i used Google maps , i remade the whole track. Came out better for some reason. Oh well. But nope, no way to scale, i tried using other applications but didnt work.

Man, that's unfortunate. I'm using Google Maps as well, but it's just a LITTLE too big. like...when I park over a car that's in the background texture, it just barely is like a foot wider than the car should be. I just need a little bit of change. SMH.

3dSimEd is your tool. You would need to import, then resize, then export. Quick job.

The 3d application i use (Lightwave3d) allows you to mass scale objects, so you could take the entire track, scale it up or down a bit, then re-export it, without any problems. Some 3d applications handle this kinda thing very easily, some don't..
