How do I get the true ending in this game?

I'm close to beating this game, but heard that there is a true ending. How do I obtain it? Please no story spoilers though.

collect all 7 jewels and have a conversation with joule.

Collect all 7 jewels. They're hidden somewhere in each stages. There're in 6 boss stages and Sinner's Row stage. After that go talk to Joule, she'll give you a Handmade Necklace, equip it and go play the final stage with that equipped until you defeat Nova 2nd form. If you have done thing rights, it will trigger hidden event as well as hidden short stage, you will fight two more bosses, defeat them to obtain true ending.

You can only get the true ending after beating the game once with the "bad" ending, because Joule was taken away and you can't talk to her to give her the last jewel.
