Thanks ASW/H2 for the great port.

Pros:
+ Latest BB available on consoles, now on PC. for cheap. (BBCF is still only on JPN arcades atm)
+ Online mode works. Yes, a working online mode. In 2016. Isn't that amazing?
+ One of the best, if not the best, netcode.
+ DirectInput Support.
+ Single player content. TONS of them. (Arcade, Story mode, Challenge, Abyss, Score Attack, Unlimited Mars, Challenge, Training, an extra story mode, and a couple of stuff for newcomers)
+ Tutorial will show you the ropes and Challenge mode can make you master some complex combos.
+ Great gameplay. Kinda hard at first, but it's all fun after that.
+ Tons of chars, each one with a unique gameplay.
+ It's not Street Fighter.
+ Contains all DLCs from the console.
+ Can change the annoying default system voice to many others. desuno!
+ Great soundtrack. (subjective)
+ Customize your lobby to look fab.
+ Can play BBCP instead of BBCPE if you want. We love you kokonoe :3
+ EU players don't have to wait a whole year :v
+ Amazing story mode (subjective). Now with the obligatory beach episode, plus a recap episode (for CT/CS events)...

Cons: (trying to be picky, they're mostly non-issues)
- No online cross-play with consoles. Online might feel like a ghost town sometimes, as most ppl interested in the game already got it on consoles aeons before this PC release.
- I don't have a 5:3 monitor, so any resolution i pick will look weird (with black bars on corners or stretched image. Arcade resolution is 1280x768).
- 720p sprites look weird unless im on 768p windowed or lower...
- No resolution option above 1080p, in case you wanted to make your 720p sprites look even worse. (EDIT: Thanks, uh, Batman for pointing out that you can edit it in the DisplaySetting.cfg in your Documents folder)
- Low quality OP video. It's as if PCs had limited HD...
- Can't customize the accept/cancel buttons for menu.
- Terumi. Bang.

Conflicted:
* So many characters, it makes it harder for newcomers to learn all them matchups...
* Not so mod-friendly. Because, sprites.
* The included "OST" is SONG INTERLUDE II album ( http://vgmdb.net/album/38796 ) + 2 Tsubaki themes (Condemnation Wings II and Memory of Tears II). Just to let ppl know what this "OST" actually is.
* Platinum. Mai.

Just have to praise the system this game uses for casual players.

You can select to play a control scheme that requires you to know exactly zero button combos or special moves. This means you can pick up and play any character, and within two matches feel like a bad mambajam popping off 28-hit combos just mashing away at attack buttons, or special moves with a flick of the right analog stick.

Whoever came up with that system/implemented it, this thumbs-up is for you

This game is just awesome.

Well... I'm not new to the BlazBlue license, character design & gameplay are as polished as ever, good music, amazing graphics, so this is very satisfying indeed :)
The surprising point here is the story. I've played 35 hours so far, and at least half of it goes to the VN part, which is just HUGE. 1 main story + 2 side stories + 3 extend scenarii + 8 gag scenes + the comedy part with Mai Natsume + the nice remainders for both previous games + "Teach me miss Litchi"... I mean, I'm not even at half of it right now :o
And let's not forget the fighting game modes: Arcade, Versus, a dungeon-like thing, and the equivalent of a battle mode against overpowered AI...

I bought this for 8€ (a bit less than 10$), and even if the online mode isn't that active (at least when I tried it), it is fully worth every penny I put in it. I feel like I got 2 games in one: fighting game + VN :o

I recommend this game for sure :)

PROS:

+Challenging "Hell" mode AI difficulty as well as a wide range of difficulties available to cater for intermediate all the way to casuals
+Lots of unlockables not even taking into account of Steam Achievements
+Hardly any lag/fps drops(or locks) compared to several other fighting game genre that get PC ported
+Great BGMs that are selectable or automated (unique BGMs that represents the individual character themes and unique themes that are played when certain 2 characters have a face-off against one another)
+Value for money as it doesn't cost that expensive compared to some other fighting games
+Game itself contains many things even without any form of additional DLC
+Choice of Voice Acting selection (ENG/JP)
+Excellent JP Voice Acting
+Iconic series that continues to deliver
+Provides players a choice to play both Chronophantasma or Choronophantasma Extend in Arcade and Online Player Match

CONS:
-In ranked matches, you can see the other player's lvl and name(steam name) and they can just simply decline matches without anyform of punishment. The que can be really annoying if you keep getting match with the same person and he/she keeps declining.

A great pc port for an accesible price point, something we can barely see, so 10 out of 10.

This game is sick. Tons of modes, Interesting storyline and characters, Fast/Complex fighting system. If Street fighter 5 let you down, this wont . It has something for both new players and veterans.

Why is this game worth your time? Here are a few reasons

• Great Tutorial - Explains how the game works perfectly well.
  You'll be guided through everything you need to know,
  be it advanced mechanics or basics
  
  
• Singleplayer Content- Only plan on doing singleplayer?
  You'll have a lot of modes to enjoy. A few modes to keep you busy
  might be story mode, arcade mode, Score Attack
  or even a difficult Boss battle against a laser firing giant. There are
  much more to enjoy
  
  
• Multiplayer Content - Not satisfied with being alone?
  Socialize! What did you expect out of a fighting game?
  Of course it would have multiplayer. Not only that, but there are also
  little things that make it more enjoyable.Such as having your own room
  (AS IN AN ACTUAL ROOM YOU CAN DECORATE WITH FURNITURE)
  Having a decent netcode, leveling, match recording.
  I don't really know everything myself but I'm sure there's more to it
  
  
• Challenge mode - Tired of learning and making up combos
  by yourself? Lost? Try this out.
  It teaches you combos from beginner to advanced and
  is available for whichever character strikes your fancy
  
  
• Training Mode - Like with every fighting game, it needs to have
  a training mode. BlazBlue's training mode is very customizable,
  allowing a better, more adaptable training experience.
  Hone in your skills by creating specific situation or
  simply just beat at a poor defenseless body. You do you.
  
  
• Unique Cast - Everyone in this game plays very differently
  from each other (Except Lambda and Nu)
  It's very likely that you'll find a character that fits your style.
  Having to face against different threats and learning how to counter
  them is also quite a fun challenge. Eliminates staleness, you know?
  
  
• Stylish mode - Are you a masher? Are you so bad at fighting
  games that you can't even grasp the idea of combos?
  Select this mode when starting a battle.
  It essentially just auto does your character's combos just by pressing
  a single button over and over.
  It also makes special attacks and such easier to use
  
  
• Numerous waifus and husbandos - Of course.......
  It's an anime fighting game after all.
  Like shy blonde moppets? Like evil villains in suits?
  Loud scruffy men with abs? Like perky schoolgirls?
  Maybe you're just a loli lover? Pick whichever you want, nerd.

I've had a good time with BlazBlue. It's the second fighting
game I've actually tried getting into, Skullgirls being the first.

When I first got these BlazBlue games,
I was reluctant to try them out.
It just wasn't what I was used to. Anime graphics, less buttons, more
movement inputs. It was too unfamiliar for me so I just decided to
abandon it and write it off as not my cup of tea.

Glad I finally tried to get into it though. I still suck, but atleast now
I've finally learned how to enjoy it.

Definitely consider buying this game. If you don't like the current price,
wait for a sale. It cuts the price in half most of the time and I'd say it's
more than a good enough price to pay for a game to enjoy greatly.

On a side note, I had my classmates try this out.
They loved it! The beginner friendly stylish mode got them to enjoy it
without having to worry about learning advanced combos and such.
Man were they loud.
It just goes to show that fighting game enthusiast or not, you can
enjoy this game as long as you don't immediately consider it to be crap.

It's a lot of fun, though I'd recommend using a control scheme other than keyboard such as a controller because attempting to simulate joystick rotations using the numpad keys is not easy.

Even with a controller some of the inputs are a little strange (One of bullet's distortion drive special moves has you perform three full rotations of the joystick)

You will never be as good as AI controlled Hakumen.
