Gameplay wise they added guard overdrive cancel and a new character Celica (new stage and song for her), they split Nu and Lambda to be seperate characters again instead of having a stance change for Nu and overall balance changes for the entire cast. Story wise I'm not sure since I haven't touched story since CS1.

Which one is which though, and does it have anything to do with stylized mode? How do I enable/disable stylized mode?

In terms of gameplay in CPEX they added the characters Celica and Lambda along some balance in the roster and in terms of story is the same as CP(original release for PS3 and PS vita) but added new things like remix heart gaiden and extend stories. And it has nothing wich version you choose to play since stylish mode is in both versions of the game also to disable/enable stylish mode just press the button where says stylish.

Thanks and yeah where's the option to turn stylish on/off. Is it left off by default?

It's off by default. You turn it on on char select by pressing RB, iirc.

I wouldn't recommend stylish mode if you intend to try and learn the game. Stylish mode doesn't make you stylish, it's a poor name for what it actually does (turns single button presses into certain actions and auto combos with buttons).

If you plan on playing the game just for the story then by all means there's no harm, but if you plan on doing any matches locally with friends or online then using stylish mode is only going to harm you in the long run as it limits your options in what you can do.

No sweet Lambda, No Celica, something something Kokonoe changes...as for stylish mode, it is fun to bust out the 720+ motions impossible on keyboard. For Bullet it removes a situational super but for Tager...a larhe part of what makes Tager Tager is shut off so I suppose against bots it is fun to bust out but pride forbids me to use it against people.
