Which BlazBlue game to buy?

Since BB franchise is on sale now i wonder which game is more "complete" edition? There's too many of 'em, all those Continuum Shift, Chronophantasma etc...Or they all good as standalone games and it's worth to buy every game? Thanks for any advice :)

It's a 4 game series. They are all good .get a few of them since they are super cheap right now. I'm playing chrono right now for the first time after enjoying continuum shift on my Xbox 360. Well made games with good art and soundtracks too. The games even come with a soundtrack download

Both 4 games are a story sequence. However, ContinuumShift pretty much resumes the 1st (Calamity Trigger) at the beginning, so you can start by playing Continuum Shift, then play Chronophantasma and then go to Centralfiction.

The last one, Central Fiction has the most balanced gameplay. If you want to know the story of the world of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend, then Chronophantasma Exten and finally Central Fiction. Continuum Shift Extend has a retelling (with minimal variations) of the history of Calamity Trigger named ¨Calamity Trigger Reconstruction¨.
