How can I connect my gamepad?

I have a Gamepad for Pc, isnt of Xbox. When I connect it, i go to Bo3 , and i cant play with it.
Help pls.How can I play with it?

The game is too easy on Controllers, If you want a challange play with a mouse.

Yeah and how do you do dropshot? So difficult with mouse. And my brother want to play too, and he only knows with gamepad

I dont know if it works other than xbox360 gamepad. For some reason when I am in the game I have to unplug the pad and plug again and after that it starts to work. Try it out.
