Call of Duty: Black Ops III Beta

Call of Duty: Black Ops III Beta

Solved - Black Ops 3 Error Code A-.-.D.E.F.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.T.-.
I was having this error every time, I deleted and re-installed after trying to disable steam overlay, afterburner, verify integrity of the game cache.

Forgot that I installed BitDefender and it has it's own firewall (Windows firewall is disabled immediately).

Disabled the BitDefender firewall, launched and connected immediately. I added the BO3 executable to the allowed files rule to bit defender and re-enabled. Still playing fine.

So try disabling your software firewall (windows or your AV) to see if that helps.

Had to turn off both my antivirus and firewall with Bitdefender for the game to finally work. Just don't forget to turn it back on as soon as you connected to the server.

yeah it's still being blocked by something it seems. In the firewall do I have to set an exception in both the inbound and outbound rules?

MalwareBytes doesn't have a firewall I think. So what would I do? Having just windows firewall disabled doesn't work.

yea I have the same issue, windows firewalla disabled or even adding an exception doesn't fix it. I'm willing to just wait till the official release comes out.

It's a network related issue, not sure waiting until the official release comes out will help anything.

Do you have upnp enabled in your router?

Do you have any port forwarding for other games setup for another PC or console?

My bet is still on a software firewall or something related to your router.

I don't think upnp is gonna really matter with this would it?

first of all, sry for my bad english. but here`s my solution how it worked for me.

at the beginning the beta doesnt worked. no conection and so on. these a.b.c.d.e. whatever failure messages. so i closed the game deactivated the firewall from bitdefender, started BO3 beta, searched for connection and now it worked. go to the main menu, press the windows button activate the bitdefender firewall again go back to the game. closed the game complete and started it again with bitdefender firewall on....and it works!!!

hope i could help a lilttle bit. greetz
