Resolution not actually changing when I change settings

Hi there, I'm having some performance issues as I'm usinng a laptop with a high resolution screen. Most games run fine when I play them in 1280x720 resolution, but even when I set this game to use that resoltuion, it ignores the setting and continues running in my native 2880 x 1620 resolution, which leaves a serious hit on my framerate - some parts basically unplayable (including, sadly, the opening credits). Any idea how to make the gam recognize and use the specified screen resolution settings? Thank you!

Hi JPTiger0, apologies for our long delay in getting back to you & sorry you're having issues with the resolution, can you try this and see if it helps solve the resolution rolling back:

Delete the "PlayerPrefs.txt" file from your local drive that hosts steam (you can do this by right clicking on the game name in your library and then navigating to "browse local files"
