Vogster DO NOT legally own the rights to crimecraft's IP anymore.
Mayngames bought the game under the table and owns the rights but however the dev with the source "disappeared." [Citation is needed]
You can fool people half the time but you can't fool everyone.

Нашли контакты в интернете и написали Вогстерам. Они распустили большую часть разработчиков, но у них все еще есть офис или что то типо того в Киеве.

Anyway, I don't think anyone will share the game, for free.
Nowadays, this game would easily become competitive, like cs-go or rainbow six.
They just need to keep it balanced and updated, not this pay to win ♥♥♥♥ that was at the end of the mayngames era

Vogster staffs believe the game is inactive due to the lack of population and funds.
It did not have more than 30 players last few years it's been running and xTrap wasn't allowing users with windows 10 to play.
They've launched the game in Taiwan, it failed quickly and they deleted all the advertisement,
Truth is, I guess Mayngames just gave up on the game and didn't wanna dump anymore money into it.

Mayngames license is expired. Look at the crap games on Mayngames website. Game belongs to Vogsters and they dont want to waste their time for free.
