FNAF games can be ported to consoles, but probably won't.

First of to claryfy I'm not saying that FNAF will never get ported to consoles. I'm saying that it probably won't get ported, and here are reasons why.

If you don't know FNAF uses a game making software better known as Multimedia Fusion 2.
Steam user MrPotatobadger explains it better in his forum post. He explains that Multimedia Fusion 2 has multiple exporters that allow games made in it to be put on to other platforms with a bit of extra work involved, but Multimedia Fusion 2 lacks exporters for consoles. But we have Chowdren now.
What is Chowdren? Well acording to Clickteam thread. It's portable runtime for Clickteam Fusion. It works on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Wii U, 3DS, PS4, PS Vita. This means you can get your game on all desktop platforms and consoles! Now this might allow Scott to port game to consoles You might ask "So what's he waiting for?" Well to develop for consoles you need a console dev kit. Lets take for example PS Vita. (I didn't pick sony's console cause I'm a sony fanboy.) PS vita dev kit costs 1900€. Thats a lot of money. If Scott gets that and ports all four game to Vita and sells them at Steam price. 5€ for fnaf 1 and 8€ for other fnaf games, about 66 people would have to buy all 4 fnaf for him to cover the cost of Vita dev kit. He could also convince Sony to loan him Vita or PS4 dev kit, but still it's a lot of work. Any way you could swap PS Vita for any othe console, and you will still have the same problem. Dev kit price.

At thed end of a day I would love to see FNAF console port, and I hope that it happenes one day.

Edit: Hey it's future me from the future. I'd like to add some more info to this post.
Everything that the past me wrote still stands. However what past me did not know is that there exist game companies whos sole purpose is to port games to other platform.

Why would someone who plays on xbox one or ps4 come on steam forums to talk about game.
They owuld go on playstation or xbox forums for that.
