Whats the deal with Mangle?

Now that FNAF 4 has been released, we are starting to figure stuff out, such as, the bite of 87.
However, some things are still left unclear. For example: How is Mangle important?

After Night 1, we see bits and pieces of Mangle laying on the floor. How is this even possible if Freddy Fazbears Pizzeria didn't exist at the time? Does this mean that Mangle will somehow be important later in the future?

Okay, at the risk if starting a flame war, I have this:

some people think that, because of the design of the room and how it doesn't seem important otherwise, it's supposed to be hinting that Mangle is female, since, after all, this is the final game, and it's supposed to answer some questions. Since Mangle didn't do the Bite, why not answer another question that's been being asked for nearly a year?

Exactly, I just crushed that guy's logic. He said since mangle's in a girl's room he's a girl. So if Chica is in a boy's room she must be a boy.

It's rather clear the Toy Animatronics were as haunted as the originals in 5n@F 2, but they never appear again. Balloon Boy, Mangle, and Puppet appear as spirits in 3, but the 3 animatronics with "Toy" actually in their name do not appear.
Why is this? What's different about the Toys?

I'm gonna clear some things up, first the toy animatronics are possessed by the same 5 children due to the retro fitting the company does, mangle makes an appearance to set the time that the events take place in fnaf 4. In fnaf 4 you don't see any of the other toy aniamtronics, this is mostly because your limited in areas you can go and the focus is mainly towards the gold suits that the staff wears and the trauma the kid suffers due to these suits. It's possible fnaf4's minigames take place during the day's of fnaf 2 with the party being after night 6 of fnaf2.
