How do you stop the cupcake?
I was on Night 1, 5 AM and then the cupcake jumpscared me, no warning

The cupcake isn't a seperate character in-game, it's actually chica when she gets into your bedroom, so don't ignore the doors.

Yeah, like Turretcube said, the Cupcake is actually the same thing as Chica. When Chica enters, either she or the Cupcake jumpscares you. You got to keep Chica away if you don't want the Cupcake to jumpscare you.

How are you notified if Chica is going to bring the cupcake? is it by her apperance? or is it something else?

You don't get notified. When Chica gets in your room, either her or the Cupcake will jumpscare you. Both of them are one thing, just different looks. Like i said, keep Chica out of your room and neither of them will jumpscare you.

Generally when something dangerous is about to happen the flashlight flickers, generally flash's due to the freddys getting on the bed, however it'll flash when an animatronic such as foxy is advancing. It'll flash for bonnie and chica entering but this only happens when your at the closet keeping foxy at bay or checking the bed.
Bonnie and chica can still enter when your in the middle of the room and will jump you when you come back from checking something.

Not the best hint that your about to re-do the night espicially on night 5, but it's a friendly reminder.

Another hint is audio cues, you'll actually here the freddys behind you screaming increase the longer you neglect, you'll here some one running by is actually foxy in the corridors, loud foot steps tell you where bonnie and chica are, but there silent when entering the room.

Best option is to make a routine and a back up routine when Foxy gets in the closet.
