Not really.

He got inspired about animatronics from a review of his games, and quickly added pizza into the animatronic thought.

Chuck E. Cheese/Showbiz Pizza (more 80's) animatronics that were creepy because of the Uncanny Valley. Bloaty's Pizza Hog was also a parody of those establishments.
