How does Foxy work in this?

Im not even sure I want to read the answers to this question, because it might ruin part of the fun of figuring this game out, but how do you stop Foxy? Ive only had him run into my closet, but he hasnt even entered the stage hes in in the official trailer, so I havent been killed by him yet, How do you stop him though? Do you simply hold the door shut while hes in there? From a "If this were real" persepctive, that wouldnt make sense at all. While Bonnie and Chica might be like "Oh, I cant get in this way. Damn.", Foxy literally has nowhere to go if you hold the closet shut.

foxy runs around yyour house and he peaks down the hallway to see ift your there than runs to the closet you can stop scratch that delay him from getting in by listeening for foots steps in the hallways than shine the light at him to stop him he then will go to the closet and he will start by jumping in and out whith his head than you close it he than gose from a crouch to a full stand than a cute lil plush
