I know it may either be obvious or said before, but FNAF 4 has tons of metaphors.

Think about it. FNAF 4 has tons of childhood nightmare/other types of metaphors related to childhood.

The box = The childs toy box.
Foxy = The monster in the closet
Freddles = Bed bugs
Everyone else = Monsters in the darkness.
Fredbear plush and the "friends" = A child's imaginary friends.

And the child is dealing with sibling problems, and some if not most children have arugments/fights/gotten teased by older siblings.
