Fritz Smith's dark secret...
No, this is not a troll. I kid you not, I know who the killer is. Scott, if you're reading this, prepare to be amazed.
So, based off of MatPat's logic, Purple Guy is Phone Guy. That's correct so far, right? Ok. Now, on Night 6 in FNaF 2, Phone Guy says that when you move to the day shift, he will take the night shift himself, meaning that you play as Phone Guy in Night 7. Right? And on the Pink Slip, it is addressed to "Fritz Smith". This means that Fritz is Phone Guy. And if Phone Guy is the murderer, that must mean that Fritz is the murderer.
In FNaF 1, when Phone Guy/Fritz supposedly died on Night 4, he didn't. He was simply attacked, and managed to escape... only to come back a few years later and die inside the Springtrap suit. So this means Purple Guy, Phone Guy and Fritz are all the same person...

Probably not. Fritz gets fired on his 1st day of the job for tampering with the animatronics. Why would Phone Guy purposely get himself fired?

He got himself fired to cover his tracks. That way, nobody would know any better.
And besides, that might explain why Phone Guy knows so much about the animatronics.

He got himself fired to cover his tracks. That way, nobody would know any better.

Ok, but in the Fnaf 1 Night 1 phone call, Phone Guy sounded as if he was working the night-shift for a while now. Fritz got fired on the day the 1987 pizzeria closed. Phone Guy started at the Fnaf 1 pizzeria.

We know that Fritz/Phone Guy has been around since Fredbear's Family Diner, because of the training tapes in FNaF 3. There was a Freddy Fazbear's Pizza between the time Fredbear's Diner closed and the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in FNaF 2, that's where the withered animatronics came from. Fritz may have worked as the night watch there, and recorded the messages after he murdered the kids. And when he "died" on night 4 in FNaF 1, he escaped the haunted animatronics. Make sense now?

Exactly, it happened at Fredbear's Family Diner. He was around back then.

One more thing though. Why would Purple Guy, a clearly insane serial kiiler, try to help you during the night? It doesn't seem like him. Phone Guy said what the consequences of spring-lock suits would be. He clearly knew what would happen.

Yes, he did know what would happen, because he didn't expect to be caught, let alone killed. He said that moisture would cause the springlocks release, and if you didn't notice the minigames, it was raining, and the rain water was coming through the ceiling. The rain water fell on the suit, and CRUNCH, he died.
I rest my case.

Wouldnt the rain be another reason that purple guy is not phone guy? If you ask me i would say phone guy is pretty smart plus phone guy wouldnt have laughed which the purple guy does

Wouldnt the rain be another reason that purple guy is not phone guy? If you ask me i would say phone guy is pretty smart
How does the rain have anything to do with Purple Guy not being Phone Guy...? And yes, he's obviously very smart, but in his panic to escape the souls of the children, he may have forgotten.

Right, but it only SEEMED like he died. Maybe an animatronic attacked him and he escaped, but it broke the recorder thingy, and that's why it cut to static.

No Phone guy is in the backstage room when he dies thats why foxys banging on the door sound is different and thats when they found his last recording...Also theres something everyone forgot about the spare heads...Phone guy says that i always wondered what was inside all those heads and maybe he found something...And if he survived then why would they need a new night gaurd

But Like I said, this is all based off of MatPat's logic. He says Purple Guy is Phone Guy, I believe him. But to add to it, Fritz Smith is Phone Guy, so that means Fritz is Purple Guy.
