A few interesting things about fnaf 4's sound files
well...title says it all...lets get going
|
the sound file for the Freddles is actually the sound of pigs getting slaughtered sped up.
|
Golden Freddy/Fredbear's laugh is a slowed down little girl's laugh.
|
Nightmare's 'jumpscare" sounds is actually an error sound on an old computer terminal.
|
There is a file called 'unlock2' in the audio. In my opinion this talking about when you lock the doors.

The pigs being slaughtered sound is what terrified me the most. I can only imagine Scott playing that sound out loud at home when he was editing it for the game! Imagine how scared his family would be!

Did you know that the breathing sound (for when the animatronics are breathing at the doorway) is just a slowed down sound of horses resting? I once sped it up, it sounded like somebody fondling with themselves! I kid you not!

"unlock2" is the sound effect snippet played when you click on a padlock after Night 7 (even though it does not open the padlock). Compare with Institutional Lock sounds from Sounddogs and the footer in the sound file, and then any Box video. :)

Thank you for clearing that up. I figured it wasn't for unlocking the box.

Also, the laughing sound that plays in the background during the minigames (when the brother is scaring the kid) is actually a slowed down laugh, and the file's name includes the words "Child_6 YEARS OLD"

Also, the sound of the crickets in the background of the game is actually a sound that was recorded in Argentina! The sound file for the crickets has the word "Argentina" in it!

I wonder if Scott used sounds that he made himself at his home and used them for the game. For example, every "Door Creaking" sound file has the words "Bathroom, door, moves" in it. Maybe he saved time by recording someone in his family opening and closing a bathroom door repeatedly!

So, that was a dying pig I heard? Dang, Scott. Are you trying to make Fnaf 4 more disturbing than it already is?
