Five Nights at Freddy's 4

Five Nights at Freddy's 4

Extremely personal question(s) for Scott. Models?
How would you feel if you found out somebody got ahold of the resources (models and textures) for rendering the in-game scenery and animatronics themselves, and were somehow retrieved from your computer and uploaded on the internet? I'm talking about the reference models for Chica, Nightmare Fredbear, etc. including the in-game locations.

Mr. Scott, I'm asking because I am interested in seeing every bit of the action in the "fake 3D" game from various different angles, ex. how Freddy's team make the pounces on Mike Schmidt from upclose… are there parts hidden from view actually animated or not (resolution problems?), like how you neglected to animate Springtrap's legs as he moved across the hall from beyond the Fazbear Fright's office window (extracting the graphics reveal his legs are completely stationary, because they're hidden from view)? Next, it's about the view angles in FNAF 4 where the enemies lift the protagonist before his end. Instead of pictures you could've made turntables for the 'tronics and phantoms, why did you take the "easy" way out?

My second question to this is:
while you were making FNAF in 2D instead of using complicated 3D rendering in realtime with graphics cards, were you also doing that to prevent the folks with crazed curiosity from ripping the game files other than just the sounds?

…And finally:
Will you ever release the animatronics' models for everyone to use? Even if you don't or won't, please explain why.

I beleive the engine Scott is using, Clickteam Fusion (right?) is not compatible with 3d models, therefore he had to prerender the images of the animatronics.

Thats what you think. I really wish to know how and what Scott was thinking, understandably tablets like my Nexus 7 would never be able to render so many polygons without having an excellent graphics chip along with processor. Then again who would NOT want their hands on Scott's models? Full quality, zero flaws to my knowledge etc. because Cawthon himself made them!

Besides, Scott Cawthon is done with FNAF and doesn't need to keep his models lying around if he isn't gonna use them. All that's left are a movie and a Halloween update.

True, but I already knew that.

So, will Scott have time to answer my questions and make up his mind on ever releasing his models? It's NOT comforting that my topic here will be overlooked by the other ones mainly consisting of "Notice me senpai" and theory BS.

It would be shocking if he actually released the models for public use, but then again some parts of all animatronics are not or never shown. Not one animatronic in the series has ever been seen from the back side. The odd part is that when looking through the eye sockets of these models (all models) we can see the background instead of the covering.

Doubt Scott would ever release the models, since people would make FNaF like games using the models and claim them as there own.

You know that we have the picture files. And that he doesn't know how to make 3D games. Right?

Then Scott could as well search for those thieves and shut the projects down, or literally demand credit if anyone uses his work publicly.… If not, we the smart folks will help.

Yes, I obviously know all we got is pre-rendered 2D graphics. Not a single polygon or light is actually rendered.

Maybe if you weren't so quick to jump to conclusions you would've noticed I was talking about the guy above me who claimed he hacked Scott's computer smfh.
In fact, I did... and I apologize.

Ok, sorry if I came off rude :P
Yeah, even the internet has its hard places.… I'll have to study it a bit more, such as the ^ symbol sometimes referring to the previous comment.

Well, with FNAF World coming, is it finally time for you, Scott C., to release your model resources?

A slight bump can't be harmful to anyone with this topic.

It took 7 years, but we finally have it
