Actual animatronics existing alongside the springlock suits?
So we all see those purple shadows of the two animatronics on stage while we run from the man in the Fredbear suit right? So that implies that the animatronics are still on stage performing... while purple man is assiting someone into a yellow Bonnie suit and the man is wearing the Fredbear suit. But how can that be? Aren't the animatronics supposed to change from animatronic mode to suit mode? If the suits were being used, then there should be no animatronics on stage right? But they are still there! The only reason the child falls crying under the table is because he is to afraid to go near the animatronics. Soo I don't know exactly where i'm going with this but a lot of people assume that the animatronics on the stage are the same thing as the spring lock suits being worn by people, Yet to me they seem like they are two seprate things. Maybe after the bite incident, the animatronic itself was destroyed... but the spring lock suit remained...? I have no idea anymore, I just want to know what we are all getting wrong about the story. And why we are getting it wrong.

But they also have performers walk around at Chuck E. Cheese while the animatronics are onstage, so as far I see it's the same thing with FNaF.

Yes, that is true in the case of Chuck E. Cheese, but Chuck E. Cheese does not have spring lock suits. They only have normal suits. Chuck E. Cheese is in reality, FNaF is make believe. I don't think spring locks suits have ever existed, or ever will. But in FNaF it doesn't seem right. What is the point of having suits that are able to be cranked and turned into animatronics, AND have actual animatronics that are not able to do that. Wouldn't they just only have the spring lock suits since they double as a suit and animatronic?

Scott just created the idea to give a reason for Purple Guy's death, I don't think he actually tried to think out how that would effect the business practices of a restaurant.
If anything the ones onstage are actual animatronics, I did find it odd that there was a large endoskeleton skull backstage, which would be difficult to move out of the way when being worn.

They do exist, they are just way different than the FNaF ones.

And the reason for their existence is to have fully spot on suits of them, rather ones that don't look quite the same as their animatronical counterpart, and no they aren't in Chuck. E. Cheese.
