New meaning to the phone calls

Scott's clue was that the entire answer has been spread throughout all four games. Although there are many similarities, the things that relate the games to each other the most are the phone calls. Just the other day, I came to a realization that a FNAF 2 phone call wasn't referring to someone using a suit to kill the children. Phone Guy had in fact, been talking about how somebody used a suit and had resulted in a springlock failure. Surely this isn't the only phone call with a hidden meaning behind it? I say we take a moment to go back and reanalyze the calls with the new information from the third and fourth games. In night 5 of FNAF 2, we here that the place is on lockdown, especially concerning any previous employees. From what we understand, the Purple Guy WAS an employees at Fazbear Entertainment at some point, as shown by the Easter Egg in FNAF 4. With Phone Guy mentioning previous employees, we can assume that it's around this time when former employee Purple Guy was killed, and became Springtrap. Later on in the call, Phone Guy says he's going to try to contact the original owners of Fredbear's Family Diner, which he states has been closed for years. What does this prove? The hard, solid fact that FNAF 4 minigames take place in 1983, PERIOD. Oh, have I mentioned how in the Night 6 call, Phone Guy says that somebody (Purple Guy), used one of the suits (springlock failure)? This disproves MatPat's whole theory about Phone Guy = Purple Guy. (Wow, I disproved MatPat?!) So this about sums up what we now know about some of the phone calls. If anybody has anything to add, mention it below, and be sure to tell me what you think.

Well, at least someone agrees that FNaF 4 doesn't take place in 1987. But there is a flaw. He used the suit to kill the children. Remember Purple Guy killed the kids in a springlock suit. He lied about someone using. It was him the whole time. Why else would the animatronics be so aggresive towards him? After all, all of the animatronics come after Phone Guy/Purple Guy in the Night 4 phone call of FNaF 1.

The Phone Guy's voice can be heard in FNAF 3, but it may also be because Scott cannot be indie unless he's completely solo on his project.

Erm, then how come the call cuts short? Golden Freddy's shriek, but Purple Guy somehow dodging it?… He wasn't on the phone at the same time he was fleeing let alone the place being closed down, and the restrooms weren't boarded up yet.

I agree with what you're saying, not the theory in general. Purple guy died in the location of fnaf1. How do we know? The layout of the restaurant is the same. Foxy comes out of Pirate Cove (not seen in any other restaurant.) and Freddy, Bonnie and Chica from the showstage. Fnaf1 takes place in 1993 (probably). So unless phone guy recorded his message about purple guys "springlock failure" and sent it back in time to fnaf2 (1987), that part of the theory cannot be correct.

But perhaps the sister location was (what we consider it to be) the 93 pizzeria. It closes down, and reopens in 1993 at that same location.
