I finally figured out why Tiny Toy Chica's beak is missing
It was so obvious looking back. The toy animatronics are in fact based on actual toys. Now before you start calling it malarkey, hear me out. The tiny toy chica's beak is detachable, which is why it is on the floor next to the girl. So when the company made the big Toy Chica, they made her beak detachable; Which is why she takes it off in the second game. Same with Mangle. Tiny Toy Foxy was made to be an disassemble toy, which is why it is dismembered in the sister's room. So when they made Big Toy Foxy it was able to get disassembled, thus being dubbed Mangle.

This was originally posted to reddit by myself, but I posted it here as well to see if Scott has anything to say.

And no, the dream theory makes sense, you can't have a f---ing animatronic fox jump at you and have free-roam mode robots in 1987!
You do realize that he can do that because he is haunted right?

Gee it's like my theory was completely undermined... I've said this theory too many times even before fnaf4... the animatronics are made based off of the merchandise... look at the plushies for instance... the fnaf 1 animatronics where made in their design...

I am it's just I get tired of people skipping over theories I've been making for a while now... then someone else says almost the exact same thing and people notice it... whatever, I beleave the figurines inspired the design of the toys and the plushes inspired the design of the FNAF 1 animatronics...

I was simply expanding on it. I also doubt you were the very first one who thought of this.

I made that theory the second I saw the prize counter in fnaf 2... similarly to another theory I made that was never thought on then shows up after and people talk about it... but whatever I suppose... I can't seem to be notted for the things I do or say dispite being one of the first if not the very first...

I'm happy we're gaining more supporters in the "Real toys inspired the designs of the TOY animatronics" but like Singe said, we've proposed it multiple times to no avail xD (although not since FNAF 2). People won't believe us.

I've gone even further though, Fredbear & Friends is the cartoon show that inspired it all. The merchandising, the toys, the plushies, the cosplays and eventually the restaurants, all were created after Fredbear & Friends became the most popular cartoon show. It was the Pokémon of the Five Nights at Freddy's world, the show everyone knew and loved, the show of a generation. Meant to educate and entertain children and adults alike, like Barney & Friends although not so aimed at toddlers. They eventually opened themed restaurants based on life-sized versions of the cartoon characters. Fredbear's Family Diner opened first and Freddy Fazbear's Pizza followed a while later, coexisting for most of its life until they both shut down. That's why Fredbear's is considered the original, it was the first themed restaurant to open based on the show, not because it was bought out by Freddy's, that never happened.
