The kids outside Fredbear's Diner.

So in the Night 3 minigame we see some other five kids that are standing close to the Diner. We know that the laughing kid on the corner is his brothers friend, who wears the Freddy mask during the Fredbear accident. It is the Crying Childs brother and his friends who possess Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy while the Crying Child takes possession of Golden Freddy/Fredbear. The other four kids are pretty important to the story aswell. These are the kids who would one day possess the Toy animatronics.

Now you're probably thinking to yourself: "If the kid laughing on the corner wearing the Freddy mask is to possess the Freddy animatronic, then there would only be four kids, which doesn't fit with the five Toys (Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Mangle and BB).

Okay, so the kis standing by the car is BB, this is the most obvious one.

The little girl with all the tiny figures is Toy Chica. She took the beak of her toy, then when she possessed Toy Chica she remembered this and took the beak off of the animatronic.

The creepy girl with the green eyes? Well, what animatronic has green eyes? TOY BONNIE!

But who is the girl with the Spring Bonnie plushie? Toy Freddy. I'll get to why in just a moment.

Now we have four kids, but five Toy animatronics. So who's the last Toy animatronic. Well, remember that Mangle toy in your sisters room? THAT'S RIGHT, the Crying Childs sister becomes Mangle. After all your brother is Foxy, so Mangle is your sister.

And the only animatronic left for the girl holding the Spring Bonnie plushie to possess is Toy Freddy.

So, mystery solved right?

If you have any reason to why you think my theory is wrong please tell me, I'd be greatful, as it would help us figure out the story.

If you believe FNAF 4 happens at Fredbear's Family Diner it can't be 1987 nor can those children become the toy animatronics, for Fredbear's Family Diner was closed for years already in 1987.

And if you meant to imply that they become the toys after years when FNAF 2 opens, I find it as unlikely as the bullies becoming the animatronics. Why? Because both the bullies and the backyard children --many years from now assuming they don't die until FNAF 2-- are no longer children. The victims of all the murders were children, not teens, the newspaper clippings are quite clear in that aspect. Teens wouldn't be fooled into a backroom by someone dressed as an animatronic.

Fredbear's Diner was in 1983 though. The kids who would become the Toy animatronics are really young in FNaF4, although they are the "toy kids"(as I'm calling them) four years before they died. They would have grown up a bit before they were killed.

The "toy kids" only look about 5, 6. 7 at most. 9-12 year old can still be lured backstage (In the FNaF2 location).

Plus, nobody can deny that the kid standing by the car is BB.

The older bullies aren't too old. They look 10-12.

Also, the bullies are wearing the masks to symbolize that they are the soon-to-be animatronics. We see these four bullies in the "Happiest Day" minigame, showing up for the party that they ruined all those years ago, to put things right, then all the kids are at peace because they birthday party finally happened. The ghost of the FNaF4 kid accepts the apology, puts on his Golden Freddy mask to join the rest of the gang, and they all go to heaven together. Scott said there isn't really any random easter eggs. It all has meaning mate.

That seems okay, but... Only Balloon Boy is canon, Mangle and Puppet are not if I understood well. So... BB's spirit is the child we see in FNaF 4, that's sure... But Mangle can't be here, since she's not canon... :)

Nightmare Mangle isn't cannon, the Mangle toy is. The toy models weren't haunted yet in FNaF4. Scott added these kids in to show us the kids that would end up in the Toys :)

I disagree though. Those teens can't be the victims! Have you seen how buff they are, especially the brother? They would beat Purple man to a pulp if he tried anything sneaky on them! It's impossible xD Sorry but that's not right.

Yes, but recent addition of BB as canon to FNAF 4 kind of hints that, just like the Puppet, BB already existed and belonged to the original pizzeria.

If you place FNAF 4 in 1987, it CAN NOT be Fredbear's Family Diner, period. They had already been closed for years in 1987 and they didn't reopen (if they had reopened, Phone guy wouldn't have had any issues trying to remember the name of the place or have a hard time trying to locate the owners, don't you agree?). So you either change the date of your theory or you change the location, because you can't have Fredbear's in 1987.

The thing is, you're right, they do look pretty old.

This brings me to a theory which I'll not mention just now, because it WILL be heavily criticized, and it's probably wrong.

However it just makes sense with the "Happiest Day" minigame and all. The Golden Freddy kid, with the other kids in the mask ect.

Fredbear's Diner was in 19XX-1983. I'm not saying it was in 1987, that was the FNaF2 location. The kids we see outside Fredbear's Diner are the "toy kids", just young, they must have stayed fans of Freddy and the gang and gone to the FFP location years later, and got killed by the Purple Man in 1987.

Don't forget that the children becoming Golden Freddy, Freddy, Chica, Bonnie and Foxy died at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. If you already place Golden Freddy dying at Fredbear's, things don't add up.

I do think Fredbear's Family Diner happened in 19XX-1982 like you said ( I believe in 1982 not 83 though but that's a minor detail) and that FNAF 4 takes place there and that FNAF 4 is the sister location of the original Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, the one where the FNAF 3 training tapes were recorded. Both the FNAF 4 game and the FNAF 3 tapes tell us when the five missing children incident happened, just a day or so after the FNAF 4 kid got bit and died.

This is one of the one things in the FNaF lore I can't figure out and it leads me to the theory I'll mention at some point.

I think 1983 'cause of the TV, Scott put that in to let us know the year. And I'm thinking you've got something with the sister location thing maybe, but the Phone Guy said the >original< name of the place was Fredbear's Family Diner. This makes me say it was before FFP. Although I still say that the training tapes were made in the FNaF1 location because of the safe room being boreded up ect, but I can see where you're coming from with the missing children incident theory.

This is a really great and thought out theory. And you're right when you say it could have originated from a TV show. I'll put my FULL FNaF theory up at some point, it'll take ages to type though. It's not completely did-similier to mine, but here's a few things you could cover. Who is Shadow Bonnie, who is Nightmare, who is Purple Freddy. I have answers for these except Shadow Freddy and i'm interested to see what you say about them.

I think he is. Reliable sources said he was fine and that that teaser was just for FNAF world's dark side u_u it won't be all flowers and joy apparently.
