A Message to the FNaF Community and Scott Cawthon
NOTE: Even though I deleted this post, I decided to repost and edit it a bit under a different name.

After reading Scott's post about his response to the community's worries about FNaF dying, I felt that something needed to be said to the community and Scott himself.

I've been noticing, even other people noticing that a lot of well known indie game developers have been getting a lot of hate. And there's a reason why so: their success with the games they've made.

Some people have been saying a lot of hateful stuff to them because of their success. Like for FNaF for example, "Oh, this game sucks!" "This game is for f*gs!"; like really cruel stuff. Scott may be a bit irritated by this, but there's other indie game developers that take cruel comments to heart.

Many of these well known indie game developers have been making games for a long time. Like Frictional Games making Amnesia, Toby Fox making Undertale, Dennaton Games making the Hotline Miami series, and Scott himself making FNaF.

How it's possible for these developers to make such game titles that became popular was from years of work and practice! Obviously Scott for making games for over many years, but also Jonatan Söderström (programmer and half of Dennaton Games) has been making freeware games at a fast rate using GameMaker: Studio, going up to 50 games!

With the skills these developers have, they use them to create a game that their skills matches to a certain genre. Scott was depressed when his game Chipper and Son Lumber Co got heavily criticized due to the characters looking like animatronic dolls. This put Scott into deep depression, even pushing him to the point not making games anymore! But he realized he could use it as an advantage, and thus creating FNaF.

The same thing similarly follows with Dennaton Games, Jonatan needed to start making money from making games so he contacted Dennis Wedin, a friend and pixel artist; forming Dennaton Games and making Hotline Miami, a popular alternate 1980's-1990's pixel top down shooter series.

These developers including Scott have inspired people into going into game development, and I'm one of them!

Some would say about the development of some of these game be like, "This had to been made in an hour or a day!" Development of an indie game could take a long time or a short amount of time, depending on what skills you have. And trust me, making indie games is not easy as you think it is.

These developers not only make these games just for income, they make it out of fun! Take this for example, after the first FNaF game became successful; Scott enjoyed making the series. Other developers have the same experience with their games too.

The point is please show respect to those indie developers out there, they put everything they have into making games. Agreeing with the FNaF community, I feel bumped out that FNaF is almost over; but I can't wait to see what the next game Scott will make, same thing with Dennaton when they're done with Hotline Miami!

Scott if you're reading this, THANK YOU! Thank you for giving a lot of people including me inspiration of making games. I support you 100% for what ever you do, keep up the good work! Have a nice day! ;)

Indeed. I really think about not just Scott, but as every other indiegame developer as an example. Killmonday Games, for example, made a great job with Fran Bow.

Being an Indie Developer is not easy, not at all.
