This has been debunked a while ago, though, so yeah.
During the build up to FNaF 4, Scott posted alot of '87's' on his website, and in the game files alot of code can be related to '8' and '7.' The only argument people have against it is that the TV says "Fredbear & Friends. 1983" which I think is just the copyright date of the show, and not the current year that the game takes place in.
As a fan of horror, not just this kind, there are certain themes at play. The story of this game is told in the first game, each one since has only given us more details to the relationships of the characters to one another. Golden Freddy, The Creations, The Children, The CEO, The Technician, The Supervisor, The Co-Founder/Family, The Scapegoat and New Blood - all in the first game. It's all so very vague however. That's the fun of talking about all of it and finding fellows who think on the same wavelengths, uncovering new pieces you may not have thought of yourself - we all have a different POV.
Before FNAF 4 was out, everyone believed Mangle had caused the bite of '87 and Jeremy was the victim. But Scott taunted them with the possibility that the bite could be shown and they clung to it like a toddler to a candy bar, disregarding the fact that the details of both bites don't add up by a long shot. But who cares about connecting the dots when you see a bite and you are desperate enough to consider that the bite of '87?
So, whatever floats these guys' boats. The bite mentioned in FNAF 1, with those exact details, happened in FNAF 2. Whatever we saw in FNAF 4 does not portray the bite of '87. Don't freaking twist the story to fit your agendas.
Right now, from what we can tell, either Jeremy or Phone Guy is the victim.
