Fake. I scanned. Well, it was a auto-scan. It had no virus. It does not have one.

Uh oh, must mean it's a virus. Better not download it.

Will you be re-adding it to steam? I'm not smart enough on computers to know how to stop my anti-virus from reading it as one.

My computer keeps blocking it from downloading for some reason. Keeps saying 'Network Error', then my anti-virus pops up and says 'Download blocked.'

I don't know how to fix this.

Try getting AVG or Avast. They are Anti-Viruses! :D

Yes! It's funny when a developer laughs at problems someone is having with their game!

Imagine if Blizzard had done that to all the people who couldn't play World of Worldcraft when Norton had this problem with the game a few years back! Just like they mock people who want legacy servers now! Wouldn't that be great?

It doesn't have to be a virus for someone's antivirus to mistakenly see it as a threat. There's these magical things call mistakes.

OP I'd see if you could go into your antivirus's settings, temporarily turn your protections off then try downloading the file.

If it doesn't let you run it after you reenable your antivirus, you might have to google your program to see if there's a way you can give it permissions since it seems no one else is willing to take your seriously or help you even this is a documented problem that can happen.

Thank you, I'll try stopping my anti-virus just to download it. I found a couple solutions that might've worked but for some reason they didn't, and now Scott took the game down. I'll try pausing the protections when he eventually puts it back up. Thanks for the help.

Probably a bug in your software anti-virus scan, try restarting (not factory reset, just go in power options and select restart) and then do an anti-virus scan
