Why does the new animatronic have teeth?

Referring to the teased image on Scott's website, I'm kind of confused by this animatronic.
The past animatronics had teeth, which made sense, because they had a jaw: they could open and close their mouth. But the new animatronic has a slit from the top of the head to the chin; that would mean this animatronic opens up from the front, not from the back like the normal springlock costumes. This also means that it can't have a working mouth, because of the way it opens up for the animatronic to fit inside the suit.

So why does it have teeth?

No it's the shadow of the eyelashes, in fact they are just "fat".

However the animatronic have teeth because it's endoskeleton is exposed.

I think it did the bite of 87, 4 teeth on one side, 5 teeth on the other, maybe when it bit the child, one of the teeth got stuck in the child's head.

Not confirmed and also the animatronic only have the endo exposed, the costume doesn't have teeth.
