I launched Borderless Gaming as an administrator (per the guide) and attempted to bring KOTOR 2 into borderless windowed through the software 3 separate times.

The last (and only) post for this game is from 2018 and was not responded to by the developer nor with any solution.

KOTOR 2 also has to run in admin mode due to some issues where it crashes during cutscenes, Steam's version no longer seems to read the swkotor2.ini folder (where you're supposed to be able to put "Fullscreen=0" and "AllowWindowedMode=1" under "Display Options", causing it to always default to fullscreen (and the game is older so it's really bad with crashing when tabbing out) regardless.

The game already has its own your-mileage-may-vary-issues just because of its age that causes it to crash occasionally with different people for different reasons, but I am actually able to play in fullscreen, I just can't get it to windowed mode using this software.
