A tip for those with an Ultrawide screen - 21:9
For games that don't support 21:9, I personally love using Borderless Gaming to get the most out of my screen.

Instead of the default setting, which centers the application and leaves you with two unused black spaces on each side; I like to move the application/game to the side.

You can specify a window size and position by first adding the game to your favorites list. Then choose "pause automatic processing" from the tools menu and right click the game title. Then uncheck Fullscreen and click "set specific size"

You can now type out the resolution, or you can click and drag the portion of your screen where you want the application/game to be.

An easy way to do this is to use Windows' built in functionality for splitting up different windows. You can click your browser (or a notepad, or whatever) and drag it to the top of the screen. There you can choose the kind of division you want.

After that you can use the click-drag option of borderless gaming to trace the browser window. And voila.. now you have the correct aspect ration without having to measure and type out a specific pixel coordinate

Gave this a try (I record videos, so I want to be able to record gameplay in 16:9, not 21:9). But for some reason 1. it's really blurry (I'm running it at 2560x1440... My monitor is 3440x1440) and 2. The mouse doesn't line up where it should (in order to hit menu tabs, I have to put my mouse cursor in a separate place than where the tab is... i.e one inch up, two inches to the left etc.)

Do you know of a way to fix this?

If the image is blurry then I suspect the game is overriding the resolution setting somehow. It could be that the game tries to change the resolution based on the size of the window in relation to what it *thinks* your screen resolution is.

That's really just a guess. But the borderless gaming app does not interact directly with any setting that determines the rendering resolution of the game.

Unless you are getting this issue with multiple games?

My problem with borderless gaming is that it doesn't always apply the settings correctly. Then I need to exit the game, completely exit the borderless gaming app, then restart the app, and then the settings are applied.
