Maintain 4:3 Ratio
Does this version of Borderless Gaming support maintaining the original windows aspect ratio? I want to play a 640*480 game in fullscreen with black bars on the side that maintain the game's original 4:3 aspect ratio. If so, ill buy. Right now I'm using BLG 9.5.6 and it doesn't have that feature (All games are stretched to my monitors ratio of 16:9).

Put your desktop resolution to 4:3 aspect ratio? Does that do the job for you?

No, thats what I'm trying to avoid by using BLG in the first place.
it will stretch

Just for the record I did end up finding a way to make the program run a game in 4:3.

How did you do it?

1) Add it to your Favorites so its on the right side, then right click it, select "Set Window Size."
2) It will ask you if you want to use your mouse to set the size, select "No."
3) Calculate your 4:3 window size based on your monitor's total vertical resolution. I used https://andrew.hedges.name/experiments/aspect_ratio/
IE I use a 1080p monitor so I put 1080 in where it says H2. For 4:3 at 1080 Height the correct Width is 1440. Subtract that from your total Width (1920 - 1440 = 480) 480 is the number of unused pixels. Divide that by 2 since it will be on both the left and right side of the screen. Now you're left with 240. We'll call this number "L"
4) When it asks Pixel X location for Top Left Corner, enter number L (which was 240 for me).
5) Pixel Y location should stay 0.
6) Enter the total size of the 4:3 resolution you got from the ratio calculator site. For this example it was 1440.
7) Enter the monitor pixel height. In this example its 1080.
8) Right click it again and select "Hide Windows Taskbar".
9) Change your background to black or something you wont mind seeing on the sides of the game (you can even use an image of the game or something to have custom arcade style borders)
10) Right click your desktop, select "View" and Uncheck "Show Desktop Icons".
11) Launch your game and enjoy in 4:3 fullscreen.

Awesome, thanks! I wish I had this a little sooner, because it took me awhile to get my game working decent like this. I actually found this little program someone made on here that just turns everything else black for the background. It actually works pretty nice (not that it really does much to not work well, but anyway...). If you wanna try it all you do is open it to turn everything else black and then press ESC when you're done to exit.

There really needs to be both a "maintain aspect ratio" and "maintain resolution" setting in BG. Having to input all this stuff manually defeats the purpose of a plug-and-play app like Borderless Gaming.
