does anyone else have problems with bearing being so weak

yeah, it's sort of just a thing in game. depends on many factors but they will deform either none or completely

yup, while trying to make a walker it just folded bc weight was too much for a bearings. The good thing I've found is block replacer mod and I use it to bulk replace heavy blocks with lither ones so my old machines can somehow work

I'm not exactly sure but I believe the smart engine from "The (Modpack) Modpack" can be adjusted to support heavier creations. I could be wrong though

The Modpack by Durf who's gone mad and deleted everything out of spite? you'll have to find a reupload. The smart engine did have strength adjustment, power adjustment and even angle adjustment like a controller, controlled by coloured inputs. though at super high weights friction becomes an issue... the wheels slip.... you get the idea.

There is a round block that's like 1 friction higher and dimensions are 7x7x1 or something, it's a great alternative block that I use all the time for wheels, the only downside is they are heavy.
