Durf's Challenge Mode Parts Mod
Anybody have a reuploaded for workshop version of Durf's Challenge Mode Parts mod for creative? I have multiple worlds I can't open now due to Durf deciding to private/delete all the mods uploaded under his name. This would be a great help if anybody has it!

Would also probably help if someone reuploaded all of Durf's mods and put them into a singular folder so others can redownload what was removed.

Thanks for the links but the game still says its missing "Challenge Parts". I hope when the devs get back to this game, they will have a option to force load worlds so it will be possible to get back in. I would hope it works by either hand removing the missing parts (like how when a mod is missing sometimes, parts show up as a missing texture cube) and or automatically removes all parts that can't be found. Sure this will break creations but it would save a ton of worlds from deletion.

You can use the save editor, I had the same issue and just did it and it worked. So you go into the save editor and click upload local files, then you have to go into %AppData%/Roaming/AxolotGames, then continue through until you can click on saves then double click on the world that you can't open, then in the save editor click on mods and you have to select one of the mods that cannot be found (I.E. challenge parts) it won't have a name to it. So tick the box beside it then click delete. in the top right. The delete buttons beside each mod didn't seem to work for me. Then download the world and go back into the saves folder and drag the new one in there. Make sure to copy the old one just in case so you don't delete the world permanently

I would like to warn you from experience - even if you hate Durf, you shouldn't be calling him insults. I got a temp ban for something similar.

Also the Modpack Modpack has challenge parts.

Thanks, I was hoping someone uploaded it. (Also thanks for the extra info on how Valve takes mild insults towards others, I guess it was more due to the heat of the moment now looking at it after the fact because a lot of good worlds I have, have the challenge parts mod installed)

So I tried to load the world with the (modpack) modpack but it still says that it cannot find "challenge parts"

So here's the problem. The mod with that ID is gone. Unless the original uploaded version gets restored, you can't load that world.

Or at least, that's what SHOULD happen.

There are 2 workarounds.
ONE - Use the save editor tool to remove the mod from the list and just use the modpack modpack.
or
TWO - Find an old copy of the mod folder complete with it's ID. I have an old copy of most of his mods thanks to my old computer that I haven't fired up in months, but I would need to share the actual folder, not the mod data. I also don't want to incur Durf's wrath.
Note that option 2 involves copying the rescued folder into your steam workshop folder. It will probably clear itself every time you restart the game, though.

Where does one find this "save editor tool?"

No clue how to use it, but people keep suggesting this tool here.

https://sm.nck.dev/save-editor

It's by one of the devs of the original modpack who had a falling-out with Durf.

I have no idea how to use it either so I'll just hope someone uploads a re-download for the mod. At least the worlds are older so I don't use them often. I also forgot to mention that after I went into a world, it downloaded all of the dependency support objects but the message changed to "Unable to find Dependency Support - Challenge Parts"

seems like a healthy change

though idk why this is even a topic of discussion when you can ask axolot to have all parts accessible in all modes as it should be
this is supposed to be a vanilla feature, not a mod
encouraging it to be a mod discourages axolot from actually just doing the inventory thing everyone wants for several reasons including this one

Thanks for the walkthough! The world is back up and running. Thanks so much!
