Loot stuck in warehouse floor, character stuck in wall
Died in a warehouse, my loot fell through the floor when I respawned and came back to get it, tried to force myself through the floor with the lift to retrieve it and got stuck in the wall (less of a big deal) but the stuff that's in the floor is a ton of loot, and I've tried to get developer mode to work to no avail, if I could just delete some blocks I could get myself unstuck and get my stuff back, but nothing seems to work, with this condition, even it I unstick my character somehow, I might as well delete my world with all that stuff just gone and stuck in the floor

Any mods, tips, or help would be greatly appreciated

If the last body bag is unimportant you can just starve to death and go back to the beginning. Exploding canisters can be placed on a lift and detonated with a tater gun to blow holes in walls floors ect. I have retrieved my loot by doing this, It is unstable but possible in some situations.
You can manipulate the infinite strength of the lift, by building some blocks and lifting until it's close to the top, build blocks to the bottom and then you can make a platform at the bottom with a seat.

Then you can get in the seat and lower the lift, stabbing you into the floor along with the toilet and platform. You can do the same thing to get through the ground in the normal world, but you won't be able to build anything in the warehouse floor because you're in blocks.

I think he said that's how he got stuck in the wall.

I've tried to get developer mode to work
Were you unable to activate dev mode, or did it not help you with the problem at hand?

The main problem is the loot that you deserve to have. It wouldn't really be cheating if you just left he lootbag behind and treat it as lost, and just give yourself the loot back through dev mode as a workaround

kinda the same thing with minecraft, I've played the game since the first cracked mincraft versions came out and I played the first version of pocket edition/lite that came out, but always hated dying for whatever reason then losing ALL the items.
keep inventory is a must for me whenever I play because without it, I just quit after dying. it just felt so demoralizing say if I got knocked into lava by a magma cube, bam, all your items gone.

likely the plan

Trust me, I tried using a custom game that I'm making. It does not have infinite strength.
Just make some explosives and blow open walls or the floor

really? The lift has to be able to effortlessly lift up the heaviest thing it can(takes up map) so wouldn't that make it countably infinite? I'd like to see your custom map where you 'found' out it doesn't and overcame it. it's strong enough to phase through terrain with no signs of slowing and I've never experienced anything other than the lift dupe glitch that happens if you have an auto clicker and spam place lifts. the most recently placed lift retains function, but every previous one becomes a static thing until you delete it.

Well, I used Challenge Mode's pistons to make a giant door open upwards, and those gigapistons are too strong, so the lift can't force it open.
I was using Simple 1 physics mode the whole time.

does the lift just go through the door? if so that's really just limitations of the physics collision system. it's very annoying when that happens, like when I made differentials and gears they kept slipping.
