so yea...whenever it comes IF it ever comes at all.
But they did manage to improve something in the physics engine which was an update we got.
The devs don't seem to think development takes time, and they're the professionals here
Compare that to Scrap Mechanic.
You are missing the point entirely. The issue is not the long early access period. It is the exclusive use of a third party communication platform, a complete lack of Steam engagement, downstream only communication, and the lack of overall transparency with the company itself. That is the main difference between Scrap Mechanic and 7d2d: the Fun Pimps keep the the community informed on or involved with development with regular updates, news posts, and forum engagement on Steam. Axolot does none of these things.
Would you tell a person with a disability to just use the stairs? Twitter is not accessible in certain countries, while many people who have access simply flat out refuse to use the platform for a number of reasons. When a developer neglects to provide news on Steam, the only platform on which their game is marketed and sold, that developer, whether intentional or otherwise, is telling over a quarter of their customer base that they do not matter.
I'll get excited when I see an actual post with a date.
