How To Backup A Save (World) TUTORIAL
1.Press "Windows Key + R"
2.type in the box %appdata% and press ENTER
3. search for a folder called "Axolot Games"
4.dubble click it
5. go in the "scrap mechanic" folder
6. go in the "user" folder
7. go in "user_weird numbers" folder
8. open "save" folder
9. copy "NAME OF WORLD YOU WANT TO BACKUP.jb" and "NAME OF WORLD YOU WANT TO BACKUP.jb-journal" and copy it somwere
10. Done. if you ever wana get the old save back than throw it back in there :) :steamhappy:

you can sum up step 2 - 6 with: %AppData%\Axolot Games\Scrap Mechanic\User\
and the savegames have the .db (dot - DB) extension not .jb

There is a Guide making feature in Steam.

It offers a lot more formatting features and an easier way to upload media that you want to include.

It stays visable longer, since it is on the guide list, not forum thread list, and can be edited with much more flexability.
