View count has nothing to do with it in honesty....
When releasing a game you want videos which explain how to play the game, which show how to play the game or at the least show the game being played, so you give the game earlier to those who volunteer for such.. (I didn't pick them, so I don't know how Axolot picked them, just my assumptions from a business POV.)
Views and followers are only used when you want to advertise to a wider audience, which normally costs money in terms of paying the YouTuber, a lot like a TV advert, except on YouTube.
The reason for this distinction is that when a game is first released, people will be searching the information themselves, and it's not hard to find, even with un-known YouTubers.
So for information which people seek out, you don't need the famous guys and girls. :)
We made Videos about it on our channel how the game works and what we can expect for the future. But it helps also the devs when we send them bug reports to improve the game before launch.
Like "Kamoba" said this as nothing to do with the number or Views but as more to do with confidence between developpers and you. If you want the game just for playing, i'm pretty sure they won't send you anything. You have to give them a good reason. :-)
