Until then, how much rotation you need will determine what components you use.
If you need full 360 degree yawing, I have had the most success using an individual controller/bearing/button for each direction. Basically, one push button activates a controller which rotates a bearing left, and a second push button activates a controller which rotates another bearing right:

You would repeat this setup for up/down control as well.
If you don't need full 360 yawing, then you are better off using a fully upgraded driver's seat for your left/right control. This allows you to adjust the rotation of a single left/right bearing to + or - 120 degrees, as well as set the speed and bearing lock. You'll still need to use the above mentioned button controller bearings to manage pitching up and down.
