Input Lag During Survival Multiplayer
Hey there was wondering if anyone was had this issue and was able to resolve it, When i'm hosting the game my friends that join have massive input lag sometimes can't move however I move and have 0 input lag. we've tried transferring the save over to one of our friends and when he hosted it everyone else but him got massive input lag.

to note: when i transferred over the save to the friend his room mate who also plays with us and shares the same LAN was getting input lag as well.

Specifications of all the computers are at least i7 8900k /16gb ram and geforce 1080ti or higher.

Seems to have happened after completing one of the warehouses after using the key.

any insight would be wonderful.

Thanks!

might be a bugged world. had a few with wierd effects. something isnt meshing well with the client server relationship (hoster is the server). by completing the warehouse what do you mean? the switches dont currently work (but can be forced to). if you forced them to work that might be the issue.

have you tried the following:
>new world
>have everyone join at beginning or when you get to the mechanic station
>check how many entities are active (ie check around to see if the scrap pillars are still ingame, >they cause lag when ai touch em), too many bearing etc.
>make sure none of you have modded files (if you do make sure that everyone has the same ?>edits/files)
>have people join in one area, vs all over the map (if that is happening anyways)

it's because it uses Steams P2P back end for multiplayer.

thats really odd because we got a warehouse key, and the lift buttons were active and worked when we pressed them no use of force or anything.

I guess we might have to just wait to the game gets optimized at this point really don't wanna restart from everything we just built

figured it out,
Turns out the 3 logic boards + timer attached to a controller to create an automatic door that would close on delay was causing input lag.
Strange as its literally the only three we have in the game.

logic stuff with moving parts seems to cause issues even in creative. nice job on finding the issue!
