Any mod for Better/stronger bearings or controllers?
i want to make stuff like concrete bridges or pistion and bearing based lifts (like for a trash truck or something similar) and the bearings in the base game seem to deal badly when it comes to slightly heavier things
like it cant even stay up when locked to a controller when i have a 7x20x1 concrete ramp
im assuming this is more of a bearing issue as even if i use a controller to 'lock' it it will sag heavily and even if i set it on max speed and raise the default angle.

but yes i am asking because this makes it a lot harder to do large style draw bridges or gangways or even lifting mechanics imo

not sure if there are any mods for stronger controllers, but level 5 pistons can do just about any job, I'd just use those instead. if you really do need it to be bearing powered, then try out the smart engine from the modpack.

Firstly, USE WOOD.
Secondly, THE MOD YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IS THE BASE GAME
Thirdly, I'd be happy to make you a mod which adds Light Concrete (or concrete but it has 0 weight)
Fourthly, BEARINGS DON'T SAG. ONLY PISTONS SAG.

You can add more bearings and create stronger hinges, this gives more torque. For example like this

Besides that bearings do sag in this game if enough weight is applied, maybe try not yelling at people.

@BraveCaperCat,
suggesting to use wood when you don't know the reason why he's using concrete is somewhat nearsighted. OP most probably has a reason (defense perhaps) to use concrete (and metal3 could be even heavier or OP hasn't been able to create enough)

@GamingGoalieYT:
either way, one mod that really blows SM out of the water is the 00Fant mod!
bearings are hardcoded and can't be modified, but like GermanAsF said, you can place multiple bearings (don't forget to weld the blocks if they don't all connect) for a sturdier and less saggy build/hinge but the more bearings the more lag — unfortunately.
