So it sounds like robots are the only renewable source of metal. But once the trees and ember run out that's it. Hopefully that wont be for a while, thanks.
That's what I plan on doing though the grind is going to be a while...
That is reassuring but good grief what kind of base do you you have after all of that time?
Do you have proof of those hours by chance?
Not sure what you would consider proof but the game tells me I have 4'532.5 hours of playtime when selected. Under my profile it says 4'533 hours. My profile is set to public but I'm not sure if visitors can see that level of detail or not. I do have close to 200 public screenshots showing many of my bases, outposts, vehicles and machines. This won't verify hours, but the scale of the build should tell you I've been playing this game a long, long time.
Anyway, it sounds like you're just starting out yourself so I hope you enjoy the game as much as I have. It's a steep learning curve but oh so satisfying once you get the hang of things.
