How do I get to play/download the game onto my iPad? I have purchased the game and it is in my library but Safari cannot download it?

The steam store where you bought this game is a store for PC games. You will need to refund the game. Just go to account details, history and click on the game and refund it.

First of all, this game would fry your iPad. Secondly, the Steam Store is for PC games and software. Safari cannot download Steam Games. Only the Steam software can download Steam Games.

The Steam store sells games for desktop computer platforms only, for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. At this point it does not sell games for mobile platforms, and its mobile app is only meant to interact with your account from your mobile device, so you can buy games for your desktop computer and engage in other Steam-related activities.

Any game downloaded from here to your iPad (I doubt you can even do it) wouldn't fry it, but it just wouldn't work at all; your iPad's operating system would reject it.

Scrap Mechanic in specific is a WIndows-only game, it does not run natively on Mac or Linux either (I should know; I'd love to play it, but I use a Mac). Even if you have a Mac computer at home, you wouldn't be able to play it. If you have a WIndows desktop at home, then you can remotely install it on that via your iPad, but that's it. When thinking of buying a game, you should look at the system requirements listed on its store page; they will tell you what you need. There are also little Symbols, like the quartered flag for Windows and the apple with the bite taken out for the Mac that let you see right away whether your desktop platform can run this game.

Get yourself a refund, Steam is very good about that.

Y’all are pretty darn mean. I guess if I have a question I will ask my grandson since everyone here are better down grading than helping.
