The gameplay is pretty great though, which makes up for such minor ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Although yeah, I agree the game engine is ♥♥♥♥. Normals are sometimes handled incorrectly (Probably the modders fault), The physics is a lot better than it used to be but I still see that at several points reality just breaks and physics just breaks down. Scrap mechanic's physics engine definitely uses a lot of equations with approximations because when things get to the extreme everything just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ breaks.
Also my biggest complaint about the physics engine is that I HATE IT when you build a really heavy car and then have to do piston steering on it because the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bearing can't hold up a truck made from wood ugghhhh
