Image creation tool
Scrap Mechanic Image Maker
Hey all. Hopefully I'm not screwin this up/posting where I shouldn't be, but I wrote a little tool to convert images (so far tested on jpegs, pngs) into scrap mechanic blueprints. It's still VERY much a work in progress, and as usual with all mods, use it at your own risk. You'll need to manually copy the resultant blueprint into a 'blank' creation (i.e., one you feel okay replacing).
Anyway, here it is:

Click the red "?" button in the top left for some instructions.

Upcoming (maybe) Features
  • Creation/editing description files as well.
  • Choice of which 'base' block to use. Right now, we're using concrete blocks (since they have the most unobtrusive texture).
  • +50% increase in googly eyes.

Bug Notes
  • The images are upside down currently. Eventually I'll fix this, but it had to do with the order in which the script reads the pixels.
  • As I mention in the Help window, certain image ratios will produce a skewed image. This has to do with how the script rounds the number of blocks down: basically, weird numbers produce uneven rows. So if that happens, just change the image ratio up or down by one.
