Scrap City Loot is Not Worth the Risk

Just opened up my first Gold Loot Chest after almost dying many times in Scrap City.... A button and some potato seeds. Come on scrap mechanic, it should at least be some guaranteed component kits...

Scrap City is really just a bigger, otherwise ordinary ruin. As are all the fixed landmarks. Presumably they'll have greater significance in later updates.

i agree in a way, the loot u get from boxes is the same as any other. whic is fine, loot is rng and component kits are easy to grind. getting bad loot from a gold chest is just ur luck at that single chest. but there are far to few chests in scrap city. im def rdy to see how they improve scrap city. the big chemical plant with the tote bots and big red is way better place to visit than scrap city.

atm scrap city is mostly a waste of time unless ur going for keys and big reds

Scrap City will probably have quests and better loot when Chapter 2 comes out

When the economy upgrade is implemented scrap city is where you will make the most money for robot parts, the black market, the seedy underground, the entrance will be heavily guarded and you will need the pass phrase to even enter.

I liken visiting Scrap City to visiting Detroit, nothing of much value to be found, but heavily defended by crack addicts!

Scrap city is actually good loot wise, the farther out from spawn you go, the better loot crates have. In scrap city I got blueberries and bananas from a crate!
