Turn engine on from switch?
How do I start something up like a saw blade from a switch connected to a engine?
I have tried a few things with logic gates and stuff but can't seem to get it to work.

connect the engine to the switch / push
the engine to the bearing
in option you can conect the switch to a seat
add gas/battery in the engine
set the engine speed
put some tools on the bearing
it must work

Thank you I will give it a try. I know it can be done I have seen it working on vids, but they never tell you how it is wired.

Connect a Switch that is connected to an engine (not the main engine of your vehicle) to your drivers seat. Then just connect the engine to every bearing you want to be turning.

you can connect the main engine to a switch it make a cruise speed but their is no reverse
you have to add another engine with double bearing reversed
it as tank track can work

connect the switch to a engine, the engine to the saw, press the switch

must be a bearing and must set the engine speed and must add fuel in engine

Why is this even a debate?

Drivers seat > switch > engine > bearings

It's that simple.

You can even do the same thing with a controller

Drivers seat > switch > controller > bearings

when you seat is not upgraded you can still use a switch without linking inside

I think it was the simplicity of the job that confounded me. I was messing with logic gates, timers and advanced computer science. Not only that I tried the exact same solution that didn't work but on reflection, the car was on the lift. :)
