welded items to a ground block

since the new update with survival i ran in an issue with welding loose items on a block on the ground to stop some lag making structures

if i unweld it by deleting a block thats welded the item is no longer placable on a lift

All the older versions it was possible to grab it back up with a lift and respawn it and then if needed reweld to a ground block



Now i had welded a big creation what took me 1 hour to build i can litherally bomb it and start over this is getting frustrating at the moment.


Can some one explain me how i can grab welded items back to a lift

Just detach the block(s) that connect the build to the ground. There might be more joined blocks than that one that was welded.

it work ok
anything can be welded on ground cube
even being a vehicule or a home at first

if i delete the welded block its on a one layer the whole item is just unliftable

In the version before survival it was possible to weld on ground level this version you need to weld 1 above it or the entire thing gets welded onto the ground

I had to delete by hand like 5k stone or so

if any block on the welded creation touches the ground ( a hill or tree that you didnt notice) than those blocks will also be welded. to release it you need to delete all blocks that touch the ground, not just the one you welded.

but as i am saing over and over before the survival came it didnt do that...

i am on creative mode with flat area but i not getting any wiser by this
